Licensed real estate agents in NSW must complete continuing professional development (CPD) each CPD year. The 2026-27 CPD year runs from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027.
Compulsory CPD topics must be completed through interactive training with an approved provider, either face to face (maximum 40 participants) or by live interactive webinar (maximum 25 participants). The topics and minimum hours depend on your licence category and area of practice. Most areas of practice require at least 7 hours.
